🏠 Your First Claim¶
Let's create your first claim! This guide walks you through every step.
What You'll Do¶
- Open the claim menu
- Click "Claim This Chunk"
- Name your claim
- See the protection in action
Time needed: About 2 minutes
Step 1: Stand Where You Want to Claim¶
Go to the location you want to protect. This is usually where you've built something or where you plan to build.
Choose Wisely!
You're claiming a "chunk" - a 16x16 block area that extends from bedrock to sky. Stand somewhere in the middle of your build.
Step 2: Open the Claim Menu¶
Type this command in chat:
A menu will open with several options:

| 📄 My Claims | Shows all claims you own (empty for now) |
| 🌿 Claim This Chunk | Creates a new claim here |
| 🔵 Visualize Borders | Shows claim boundaries with particles |
| 📜 Invite Inbox | Shows invitations from other players |
Step 3: Click "Claim This Chunk"¶
Click the green grass block labeled "Claim This Chunk".
You'll see:
- The cost (if economy is enabled)
- Confirmation button
Click to confirm!
Step 4: Name Your Claim¶
A text input will appear. Type a name for your claim, for example:
Naming Rules
- At least 3 characters
- Letters, numbers, and spaces are allowed
- Special characters like emojis work too!
Step 5: Congratulations! 🎉¶
Your claim is created! You'll see a success message:
✅ Claim "My Castle" has been successfully created!
What Happens Now?¶
Your claimed chunk is now protected:

See Your Claim Boundaries¶
Want to see exactly where your claim starts and ends?
- Type
/claim - Click "Visualize Borders" (the sea lantern)
You'll see glowing particles showing:
- 🟢 Green = Your claims
- 🔴 Red = Other players' claims
- 🔵 Blue = Unclaimed wilderness
Manage Your Claim¶
Type /claim again and click "My Claims" to see your claim.
Click on your claim to open the management menu where you can:
- 📍 Set spawn point
- 👥 Add members
- 🚩 Change flags (rules)
- 🗺️ View the map
- ⏰ Extend claim time
- 📦 Access the vault
- 🗑️ Delete the claim
