Welcome
What uxmCosmetics does, who it is for, and where to read next.
uxmCosmetics gives every player a wardrobe. Twelve families of cosmetics ship, 234 pieces in all, and a player wears one piece of each family at a time: a trail behind them, a halo over them, a pet at their heel, a balloon over their shoulder, a hat, a gadget in the hotbar. Pieces are bought with the server's currency, won from mystery boxes, granted by staff, or unlocked by a permission.
What it does
| Part | What it gives you |
|---|---|
| Twelve families | Trails, halos, cloaks, hats, suits, emotes, balloons, gadgets, pets, mounts, morphs and banners |
| 234 shipped pieces | Every one data in a file: add, change or remove one and reload |
| Buying | A price in experience, levels or any of five economies |
| Mystery boxes | A weighted table per box, a spinning strip, and coins back for a duplicate |
| Box stations | A block you built that opens the boxes, with a particle figure and a sign |
| Permissions | A node per piece and per box, and a wildcard for staff |
| A hotbar opener | The nether star that opens the wardrobe, kept through death |
| A network | One database shared by every server, with the wardrobe following the player |
Every piece is drawn by one shared animation task: no entity is saved to the world, a follower never outlives its owner, and a cosmetic mob never burns, breeds, trades or wanders off.
Who it is for
A lobby or hub that wants players to have something to show, and a survival server that sells cosmetics. It runs on a single server or a network.
