Welcome
What uxmTeleportBow does, who it is for, and where to read next.
uxmTeleportBow gives every player a bow. They shoot, and when the arrow lands they are standing where it stopped. It is a lobby toy: the arrow does no damage, is never spent, cannot be picked up, and the landing is checked so a player is never put inside a wall or under the world.
What it does
| Part | What it gives you |
|---|---|
| The bow | One bow and one arrow, handed out on join, respawn or world change, locked in their slots, in each player's language |
| The shot | A cooldown between shots, shown as a sweep over the bow, and a faster arrow than a normal one |
| The landing | Refused below a floor height or where there is no room to stand; the player keeps the way they were looking |
| The fall | The first fall after a teleport does no damage, for a few seconds |
| Filters | Worlds where the bow works, and WorldGuard regions or Towny towns a player may not leave or land in |
| Trail | A line of particles behind the arrow in flight |
| Effects | Action lists for the shot, the departure, the arrival and each of the six refusals: sounds, particles, titles, commands |
| Placeholders | Whether a player holds the bow, and the cooldown left, for a scoreboard or an action bar |
Who it is for
A lobby or hub that wants something to do between games, and any server that wants a travel toy in one world. Nothing needs a permission to use: a player who holds the bow can shoot it. Who gets the bow is decided by when it is handed out and by the world filter.
